Q3. Need a visa?
Tourists from most countries need a passport that is valid for 6 months and can get either a 1 month or 3 month visa on arrival. Q4. Need any inoculations?

Q5. Changing money?
Advisable to do this at licensed money changers in KK, as they offer the best rates. These are found in shopping centres.
Q6. Tipping?
There is generally no tipping in Sabah, although people may leave the loose change after they pay the bill. There is none on our tours. Tips are included in the tour cost so that you do not have to worry about it when you are with us. However, porters and bellboys at hotels are usually tipped for carrying luggage. Suggested rate is RM5 per bag.

Light, loose-fitting, comfortable, cotton, linen

Q10. What do the tours include?
In general, each tour includes transportation to and from the airport; accommodation; an English-speaking guide; travel included in the itinerary; meals mentioned in the itinerary; and entrance fees. There may be variations depending on the particular tour.
Q11. Who can create their own tour and what does this mean?
Any group of 4 or more people interested in learning about Sabah can ask us to work out a personalised tour. This may be because you want to mix together some of the elements of the tours already on offer or because you have a specific interest, for example, photography or bird watching, or because you want to stay longer than one week. We would love to help you devise your own tour.
Q12. Do you run trips for fewer than 4 people?
Yes, we run tours for groups of 2 -4. Please contact us for the rates.
Q13. Travelling alone?
No problem - you are welcome to join any of our tour groups. Check availability.

12 people.
Q15. Do you do trips in languages other than English?
Yes, we can certainly do our best to travel with you - as long as there are four or more in your group. Email us about this! (Not necessarily in English...)

Yes, it is.
Q17. Does the transportation have seat belts for all seats?
Yes, it does.
Q18. Where can we have meals that are not provided?
There are lots of great places to eat in KK. You can find out about them from the magazines that you will receive when you arrive.
Q19. Are the hotels and tour sites wheel-chair friendly?
Although many hotels in Sabah are making an effort in this direction, in general, most places are not very wheel-chair friendly.
Q20. Do I need travel insurance?
Yes, make sure you have travel insurance before you leave home!
Q21. Can I use ATM and credit cards in Kota Kinabalu?
Yes, you can. You can use an ATM card at most banks and a credit card at a lot of the larger shops and restaurants.
